Situated just off Interstate 70, forty-five miles west of Denver, Colorado, the Georgetown Loop, with the majestic Rocky Mountain as a backdrop, offers a fantastic step-back-in-time experience. The Georgetown Loop is owned by the Colorado Historical Society. Come ride the Georgetown Loop and witness steam Engine No. 12 as it challenges the 4.2% grade on its climb to the station at Silver Plume.
